Cult hit “Euro Truck Simulator 2” is set to make its way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, as indicated by recent listings on the PSN and Xbox stores, suggesting an imminent release.
“Euro Truck Simulator 2” has achieved significant success on PC, selling over 15 million copies as of 2024. The game’s simulation allows players to experience life as a long-haul truck driver, transporting diverse cargo across a vast network of European cities, including locations in the UK, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland. The game features the ability to transport a wide variety of goods across more than 60 European cities, manage and grow a trucking business by building a fleet of trucks, purchasing garages, hiring drivers, and optimizing company profits.
Players can also extensively customize their vehicles with both performance upgrades and cosmetic modifications, such as optional lights, bars, horns, and unique exhausts. The game boasts thousands of miles of real road networks, incorporating hundreds of famous landmarks and structures, which offers an immersive European trucking experience. Although an official announcement from developer SCS Software is still pending, industry observers speculate that a reveal could occur during Gamescom this week.
