New leaked images from Dutch outlet NieuweMobiel suggest that Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 series may feature support for the Qi2 wireless charging standard, just one week before the anticipated launch event.
The images display what are reportedly “Pixelsnap” cases for the device, featuring a prominent central ring, which strongly indicates the integration of built-in magnets, a key component for full Qi2 magnetic charging compatibility.
Currently, among Android phones, only the HMD Skyline boasts native Qi2 support with integrated magnets, while devices like Samsung’s latest foldables are “Qi2 Ready” but necessitate magnetic cases for complete compatibility.
This recent leak corroborates a previous leak from the prior month, which showcased what appeared to be a wireless charging puck for the Pixel 10.
The leaked case images also reveal potential color options: the standard Pixel 10 cases may be available in blue, black, green, and light blue, while the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL could offer gray, green, and white variants.
