To start the Diamond Casino Heist in GTA V Online, you need to buy an arcade, which serves as your base of operations. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

Before you start, you need to have access to a Grand Theft Auto V Online account and be able to receive texts from in-game characters like Lester Crest.

To purchase an arcade and unlock the Diamond Casino Heist in GTA V Online, follow these steps. First, wait until you receive a text from Lester Crest, which reads: “This is Lester Crest. Meet me at Mirror Park. We have something to discuss.”

Then, go to Mirror Park and talk to Lester Crest. After doing so, you can purchase an arcade property from Maze Bank Foreclosures. You can technically buy any arcade, but Videogeddon is the best choice as it’s the cheapest one in Los Santos proper.

When setting up your arcade, the renovations that matter are in Extras and a Garage. Living Quarters in Extras allows you to spawn at your Arcade, while High Score Screens in Extras will encourage rage quits and addictions in players. A Garage will allow you to store vehicles at the Arcade.

Next, register as a CEO and interact with the laptop in the arcade. You’ll have to be a CEO before you can continue with setting up your arcade. The only mission you can start at this point is the Setup Mission for the arcade.

Complete the Setup Mission by following the in-game instructions. This involves going to the location noted in-game, tracking down a stolen truck, stealing it back, and driving it back to the arcade. After completing this mission, Lester will introduce you to the Diamond Casino heist, and your arcade will be fully operational.

There are six arcades to pick from in GTA V Online, each with a different location and price. The available arcades are Pixel Pete’s in Paleto Bay for $1,235,000, Wonderama in Grapeseed for $1,565,000, Videogeddon in La Mesa for $1,875,000, Insert Coin in Rockford Hills for $2,345,000, Warehouse in Davis for $2,135,000, and Eight-Bit in Vinewood for $2,530,000.

Videogeddon is considered the best arcade location choice due to its proximity to the Diamond Casino, where most of the heist missions will take place. It’s also close to a nightclub and a warehouse, allowing for quick travel between businesses. While not the cheapest, Videogeddon is far from being the most expensive.

After purchasing and setting up your arcade, you’re ready to dive into the Diamond Casino Heist. The arcade serves as your central hub for planning and executing all aspects of the heist.

Your next steps will involve using the arcade’s planning board to begin the heist setup missions, which prepare you and your crew for the grand finale. These missions will help you acquire necessary equipment, vehicles, and intel, ensuring you’re fully prepared to tackle the challenges of the Diamond Casino Heist.
