Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A17 has surfaced ahead of its official launch, listed by several European retailers, bringing enhancements such as the Exynos 1330 chipset, upgraded display, and optical image stabilization for its main camera.
The Galaxy A17 boasts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and offering a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. The screen also features a waterdrop notch housing a 13MP selfie camera.
For photography, the device is equipped with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. It is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 25W wired charging. The phone also includes IP54 ingress protection and expandable storage via a microSD card slot.
The Galaxy A17 runs on One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung has pledged to provide 6 OS updates and 6 years of security patches for the device. It will be available in Black, Blue, and Gray color options. According to pricing details from retailers, the 4GB RAM/128GB storage model is listed at €230 in France, while the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant is priced at €309 in Spain. An official launch date for the Galaxy A17 has yet to be announced.
