Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the company is making significant strides in developing a more personalized Siri, powered by Apple Intelligence, with the features slated to launch next year.
The announcement was made during an earnings call following Apple’s Q3 2025 earnings report, which revealed a record revenue of $94 billion, exceeding Wall Street estimates. This development reaffirms Apple’s commitment to enhancing its virtual assistant, initially unveiled at WWDC 2024, albeit with a delayed launch initially announced in March.
The updated Siri is expected to offer enhanced understanding of user context, on-screen awareness, and more comprehensive per-app controls. As demonstrated at WWDC, the new Siri will be able to access information from Mail and Messages to answer questions about flight details and lunch reservations, showcasing its improved capabilities.
Despite the progress, Apple is currently facing several class action lawsuits due to the delay in releasing these highly anticipated features. Nonetheless, Cook’s reaffirmation of the timeline suggests that Apple remains on track to deliver the enhanced Siri experience to users next year.
