Vivo has started teasing its upcoming V60 smartphone, which is expected to launch in India next month, with August 12 and August 19 being the potential launch dates. The company has officially highlighted the V60’s portrait photography capabilities, which will feature co-branding with Zeiss.
A key marketing point for the V60 is its claim to be “India’s slimmest smartphone with a 6,500 mAh battery,” emphasizing its sleek design for comfortable handling. The device will be available in three colors: Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Gray, and will feature an equal-depth quad-curved screen.
Although official details on the V60 remain limited, previous rumors suggest that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. It is expected to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with “1.5K” resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1,300-nit peak brightness. The camera setup is rumored to include a triple rear configuration comprising a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide lens, alongside a 50 MP front-facing camera.
The 6,500 mAh battery is anticipated to support 90W fast charging. Additional rumored features of the V60 include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The V60 is widely speculated to be a rebranded version of the Chinese Vivo S30.
