The Honor Magic V5, a foldable smartphone initially released in China, is set to make its European debut in Romania on August 12, following its recent launch in Malaysia.
The device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and runs on Android 15-based Magic OS 9, featuring a 5,820 mAh battery, a slight reduction from the 6,100 mAh in the Chinese variant. Storage options extend up to 1TB, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. For photography, the device boasts a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto unit. Both selfie cameras utilize 20MP sensors. The Magic V5 sports a 6.43-inch cover display and a larger 7.95-inch folding display.
Details regarding the Honor Magic V5’s pricing, memory configurations, and available color options for Romanian customers are expected to be announced on the launch date, August 12. Beyond Romania, Honor has also established pre-registration pages for the Magic V5 in the United Kingdom and Germany, signaling future availability in these key European markets. Specific launch dates for the UK and Germany have not yet been disclosed.
