Honor is set to expand the availability of its China-exclusive foldable device, the Magic V5, into Europe with its debut in the Romanian market on August 12.
Following its Malaysian release, the smartphone is expected to be launched in Romania, marking the first European market for the device. Although the launch event is scheduled for August 12, details regarding the memory configurations, pricing, and available colors in the local market are yet to be disclosed.
Honor has also opened pre-registration pages for the device on its UK and German local sites, hinting at future availability in these significant European markets. However, as of now, the company has not revealed specific launch dates for the UK and Germany.
The Magic V5 smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and operates on Magic OS 9, built on top of Android 15. The device is fitted with a 5,820 mAh battery, whereas the Chinese model features a 6,100 mAh capacity. It is available with a configuration that offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The device’s camera features a triple configuration on the rear, which consists of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto unit. For front-facing photography, it uses dual 20MP sensors. The smartphone features a 6.43-inch cover display and a 7.95-inch folding display.
