The RedMagic 10S Pro, a gaming smartphone with advanced hardware and cooling, is now globally available. It boasts an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, dedicated gaming chip, and active cooling fan.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version in the 10S Pro has higher clock speeds than the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite. The CPU reaches up to 4.47GHz, an increase from 4.32GHz, while the GPU clocks up to 1.2GHz, up from 1.1GHz. This enhanced chip also features a 40% increase in NPU performance.
The RedMagic 10S Pro incorporates advanced cooling solutions inspired by gaming PCs to maintain peak performance. It uses 36mm² of liquid metal in direct contact with the chip, offering superior thermal conductivity. RedMagic credits this with a 5°C reduction in chip temperature. Heat is transferred to a 12,000mm² vapor chamber, supplemented by graphene and copper layers, and expelled by a 23,000rpm active cooling fan. The fan features customizable RGB lighting with 15 color options.
The device is available with configurations up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, varying by color. It launches with RedMagic OS 10.5, based on Android 15. The 10S Pro features a custom 6.85-inch OLED panel with a 1216p+ resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate.
The RedCore R3 Pro gaming chip handles super resolution upscaling, enabling 120fps in numerous titles, and manages input processing for low-latency touch detection. The display offers a 2,500Hz single-finger sampling rate and 960Hz multi-finger sampling rate. The phone also features shoulder triggers with a 520Hz sampling rate and a customizable MagicKey.
A 7,050mAh battery supports fast charging up to 80W. The phone includes 4D tactile feedback and DTS:X-certified stereo speakers, with rear RGB lighting that can react to in-game sound cues. The triple rear camera setup features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP helper module, alongside a 16MP under-display selfie camera.
