Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra to Feature Larger Battery

Samsung is reportedly developing its next flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which is expected to feature a larger battery, marking a significant change for the company’s premium tablet lineup.

Recent regulatory filings suggest that the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could be equipped with a battery having a rated capacity of 11,374 mAh. The “typical” capacity, which is the figure usually advertised by manufacturers, is anticipated to be between 11,700 mAh and 11,900 mAh based on the filing. This represents a notable increase compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.

The potential battery size boost is significant as it is the first instance of Samsung increasing the battery capacity within its “Ultra” branded tablet series. Both the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra had the same typical battery capacity of 11,200 mAh. For heavy users, even a modest increase in battery life could result in a more substantial functional improvement.
