Nvidia has announced the release of its new GeForce RTX 5060 GPUs, making high-tech features more accessible to gamers with prices starting at $299.

The RTX 5060 line includes two models: the RTX 5060 Ti, available in 8GB and 16GB VRAM variants, and the RTX 5060, which comes in an 8GB VRAM option. The RTX 5060 Ti will be available for purchase on April 16, priced at $379 and $429 for the 8GB and 16GB variants, respectively. The RTX 5060 will launch sometime in May for $299.

The new RTX 5060 GPUs offer DLSS 4 support and full ray tracing capabilities, enhancing visuals and frame rates for gamers. According to Matt Wuebbling, Vice President of GeForce Marketing at Nvidia, “The RTX 5060 family offers gamers next-generation performance and AI-enhanced visuals starting at $299.” The GPUs are powered by the advanced Nvidia Blackwell architecture and will feature DLSS 4 technology in over 100 games.

DLSS 4 includes AI-enhanced features such as Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and Nvidia Reflex, which reduce latency times during gameplay while providing higher frame rates and resolution. Nvidia states that these features will elevate gaming with stunning visuals, high frame rates, and quick responsiveness.

Over 100 games will support DLSS 4 at launch, including popular titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2, and Black Myth: Wukong. Nvidia claims that users can enjoy “stunning ray-traced visuals at over 100 frames per second” on some titles at maximum settings.

Nvidia has also announced that RTX-5060-equipped laptops from major manufacturers will be available in May, starting at $1,099. These laptops are said to offer lower latency and double the frame rates of previous models, with configurations starting at 14.9mm thickness.

Interested buyers are advised to be prepared to make a purchase quickly, as new Nvidia GPUs tend to go out of stock rapidly. For updates on the RTX 5060 launch, visit the Nvidia website.
