Rumors are circulating about potential design changes for iOS19, a new foldable iPad, and a special iPhone Pro model to celebrate the iPhone’s 20th anniversary.

iOS19 Home Screen leaks suggest that the upcoming operating system may feature more rounded icons, search bars at the bottom of apps, new tab bar designs, and glassy elements throughout. According to Jon Prosser’s Front Page Tech, these changes could provide a fresh look for the iPhone software. Prosser’s mockups show Apple demonstrating care and balance with its design choices, with changes that are significant but not extreme. Additionally, iOS19 may include an iPhone 17 Pro-exclusive Camera app feature, further enhancing the device’s capabilities.

Apple’s plans for a foldable iPad, potentially named “iPad Fold,” are also gaining traction. Analyst Jeff Pu claims that the device will launch in late 2026, alongside the company’s first foldable iPhone. This contradicts earlier reports from Mark Gurman, which suggested a launch in 2028 or later. While the exact timeline is uncertain, a simultaneous launch of the iPad Fold and iPhone Fold could be a significant event for Apple.

A “bold” new iPhone Pro model is also in the works, according to Mark Gurman. This device is expected to make more extensive use of glass and is intended to celebrate the iPhone’s 20th anniversary. While details are scarce, Gurman suggests that the device may arrive in 2026, potentially as part of the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. The use of more glass could signify a major design shift for the iPhone Pro models.

The release of Apple’s smart home display, allegedly named “HomePad,” may be delayed until 2026. According to Mark Gurman, the company is considering a delay to coincide with the release of new Siri features, which are expected to land around the same time. This could provide a significant boost to the product’s launch, as the improved Siri capabilities would likely be a major selling point for the device.

Overall, these rumors suggest that Apple is working on several significant projects, from iOS19 to new hardware releases. While the accuracy of these reports remains to be seen, they provide an intriguing glimpse into the company’s potential plans for the future.
